一個社會，一個團體，
In order for a society or an organization to exist and function well,
需要各形各色的組成份子；
People of different ranks, abilities and specialties are needed to be its members.
就像是一部機器，
It is just like a machine.
少不了每一個部分或每一顆大小的螺絲釘一樣。
A machine cannot work without all its parts and the screws of different sizes in the right places.

生命的旅程中，
On the journey of life,
千萬不要被現實輕易擊倒；
One should try hard not to be easily defeated by the conditions and situations around him/her.
必須瞭解北方的冬天，
One should realize this: If one lives in the north,
永遠是冰天雪地的酷寒！
One has to deal with the constant extreme coldness of the snowy, icy world in the whole winter.

學佛，
To follow the Buddha’s teachings
乃是面對現實，
Is to face the reality,
瞭解事實，
To comprehend the truth,
突破虛實，
To dispel the illusions which hide and cover the truth,
顯現真實，
And to reveal the truth
而達圓滿究竟之道。
So as to perfect the Buddhist Way and reach the goal of the ultimate enlightenment.
