智慧的形成,來自各種經驗與知識;
Wisdom is derived from various experiences and knowledge.
可是,經驗與知識並不等於智慧;
Yet, experiences and knowledge per se are not wisdom.
因為,智慧是從經驗與知識中擷取適應需要的一種完美的表現;
It is because wisdom is a kind of perfect act performed by applying one’s
experiences and knowledge in response to whatever is needed at the moment.
In other words, there are positive and negative elements,
Even some more complicated elements,
In experiences and knowledge.
Since you could begin to comprehend something,
打從你能夠領會些什麼開始;
This constantly changing life has been driven you to experience many different things.
Do you remember how much you have seized and how much you have lost?
However, at any rate, there is no way you can stop being busy on and on,
Isn’t it?
There is no smooth and straight way to fulfill one’s ideals.
Ideals are usually realized by rough and rugged paths of struggles.
Hope is not vain wishes.
It is to gather whatever strength left over after each time disappointment strikes one down,
Rise again, and move on to the next hope.
